Your future role? As a Product Manager and Designer – SAP Treasury, you will oversee the development and performance of the treasury digital product and capabilities. You will coordinate and lead the team to deliver an innovative and high-quality product. This product will be aligned with the digital strategy for the function and the company. It will meet the needs of users while maintaining a close relationship with them, including existing and potential users. You will report to the Finance and Controlling Product Line Manager.
Your Main Responsibilities
- Accountable for the Treasury digital product strategy, roadmap definition and communication.
- Maximize value delivered through the product.
- Lead the Product team delivering on this product.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead and communicate the vision, ambition and product roadmap with the right Business and IT partners.
- Collaborate with other IT products managers to ensure alignments in deliveries.
- Prioritize the product backlog and define important metrics.
- Identify and support innovation opportunities related to Treasury.
- Oversee product releases; adoption and measure/improve outcome realization.
- Ensure understanding of the team execution with the product strategy and roadmap.
- Promote user experience, communication and change practices applicable to the product.
Product Management and Delivery
- Define and oversee the Treasury digital product vision, roadmap and product backlog.
- Guide the team through the product discovery process to execution and delivery, aligned with the product vision and roadmap.
- Prioritize and take decisions regarding the digital product capabilities, including features and technology upgrades.
- Collaborate the team delivers needs/impacts from other product projects.
- Identify & elevate staffing needs for the product team, cross-product teams, functional partners and vendor partners.
- Encourage/Develop an outcome‑centric mindset, to measure success and progress while promoting and ensuring maximum adoption of the product.
- Ensure the product is built in accordance to architecture standards, information security, GDPR, other policies and with a data by design approach.
- Provide SAP designs, customizing, testing, delivery and post implementation support including troubleshooting to end users across many countries.
- Provide functional specifications for developers.
- Deliver project plans to business stakeholders.
- Organize, lead, and always improve our capacity to develop digital solutions with a product mindset.
- Support the Finance and Controlling Product Line Manager in team member recruitment and onboarding.
- Coach in developing product team members by upskilling and reskilling them.
You have
- Bachelor's degree in computer engineering or business school or equivalent.
- 10+ years working in IT environment or global IT projects.
- 5+ years as a Product Manager or lead position.
- 5+ years on SAP FI/FSCM/Treasury hands‑on experience as functional/application designer in and 3rd party interfaces (e banks and government institutions) and basic FICO knowledge.
- Experience with end‑to‑end payment processes in SAP, including understanding of Payment configuration, SAP DMEEs, bank connectivity and transport management across system landscapes.
- Customizing experience in TRM and IHC.
- 2+ years in Business Process Design/Modelling.
- Experience in workshop animation (design sprints, design thinking).
- 2+ years of experience managing team dynamics, building team relationships, mentoring team members, and delivering feedback.
