As our Regional Head of Quality for Fragrance & Beauty (F&B) in EAME, you will lead the implementation of the Quality Management strategy for the Fragrance Operations organization in EAME region including its Quality culture and associated behaviours, control processes, process standardization, product specifications and quality validations in order to protect and enhance product quality.

Reporting to our Head of Global Quality Management for F&B, you will:

  • Strategy design and execution
    • Provide key Quality Management (QM) information for the definition of the Operations strategy and related objectives.
    • Execute the QM strategy by adapting related tactical and operational plans to the assigned region in order to meet QM specific objectives.
  • Function management
    • Lead the implementation of procedures and methods/protocols to maintain the quality of products in accordance with established policy, including brand standard equivalence, (raw) materials quality standards, finished product specifications and product approval requirements.
    • Provide testing and release services in support of established schedules by being the primary technical liaison with counterparts in Operations, S&T and Commercial.
    • Conduct evaluation programs within deadlines, specifications and approved budget(s).
    • Conduct audits/investigations to measure compliance with quality requirements and correct deviations.
    • Prepare and review quality related section(s) of regulatory filings whenever required.
    • Represent the quality control perspective of Operations in critical projects for the region.
    • Keep current with all laws and regulations in the region affecting ingredients and products to ensure these are compliant, need reformulation or have to be retired.
    • Execute the annual operating plan within approved budget.
  • People management
    • Participate in the execution of annual human resources processes within the regional QM organization and validate related results with the Operational Manager.
    • Work with the regional Operations management team and HR Business Partner(s) in developing a talent pipeline for the regional Quality Management organization.
    • Drive the development and promotion of regional QM talents within Operations.
    • Coach and mentor staff in all aspects of their job performance and career development including training, feedback, rewards and other actions.

Your professional profile includes:

  • Academic Background
    • Bachelor Degree or equivalent in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science or related discipline.
    • Quality Management related qualifications preferred.
  • Professional Experience
    • 10+ years of work experience in similar functions.
    • 5+ years of progressive experience in people management.
  • Technical Skills
    • Proven expertise in Quality Management strategy design and execution, aligning quality objectives with operational goals.
    • Strong background in developing and implementing quality systems, procedures, and testing protocols to ensure compliance and product excellence.
    • Experience in driving regulatory compliance, conducting audits, and managing investigations to uphold standards across products and processes.
    • Experience in cross-functional collaboration with Operations, Science & Technology, and Commercial teams to support quality control and product release.
    • Solid experience in regulatory documentation and product compliance across regional markets.
    • Experience in leading and developing teams, mentor talents, and drive succession planning within quality functions.
    • Proficient in budget management and operational planning for regional quality organizations.

The primary location for this role is our Ashford (UK) site. Our Vernier (CH) site can also be an option.
