We are looking for an experienced Regulatory Solution Lead with a track record in leading delivery of compliance‑by‑system design solutions, and data lake design within the FMCG industry. You will combine your regulatory expertise, systems capability knowledge and project management to lead complex projects within the Fragrance & Beauty systems ecosystem, and to lead our digital compliance transformation strategy. You will be a bridge between Regulatory Affairs, Product Safety, IT, and Business and other departmental teams. You will lead cross‑functional collaboration from concept to delivery, promoting compliance innovation that enhances capability, speed, quality, and trust across our organisation, and to the benefit of our customers.
Location: NJ (USA), Dubai (U.A.E); Singapore, Ashford (UK), Argenteuil (FR). Based on the candidate's current location. Salary: US candidates: 150,000 - 200,000 USD based on technical experience. Other locations: salary expectation based on technical experience and will be in local currency.
In this exciting role you will:
- Lead multiple regulatory compliance system design projects, from concept to delivery, aligned with Givaudan's multi-year digital transformation programme.
- Lead the end‑to‑end design scope, testing and validation of solutions, and drive overall project goals.
- Partner with multiple cross‑functional stakeholders, combining programme leadership, stakeholder engagement, and strategic foresight.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (data scientists, developers, business analysts) and translate complex technical concepts for non‑technical stakeholders.
- Ensure regulatory understanding of modern cloud, data, and product architectures.
- Promote delivery practices across the project portfolio, with emphasis on value delivery, risk management, and continuous improvement.
- Champion data model integrity, compliance‑by‑system‑design, and intellectual property privacy in all compliance‑related data and processes.
- Manage timelines, dependencies, and risks, supported by KPI and reporting mechanisms – ensuring project progress transparency, accountability and on‑time deliverables.
- Troubleshoot technical roadblocks and manage risks.
- Foster a culture of proactive compliance, continuous improvement, and dynamic, scalable controls.
- Define and validate regulatory data models within S/4HANA architecture.
- Ensure regulatory processes are embedded within S/4 standard and extended capabilities.
Required Qualifications:
- University degree in Regulatory Affairs, Data Science, Compliance Management, IT or a related discipline.
- Understanding of machine learning, AI frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch), and data pipelines.
- 10+ years in Regulatory Affairs, SAP‑enabled Data Management, Regulatory Platform Design and Management Consulting, or Programme Management.
- Experience leading regulatory data or compliance‑related projects within global, cross‑functional environments in the FMCG industry.
- Ability to interpret and operationalise complex regulatory frameworks into system and design solutions.
- Experience engaging diverse stakeholders.
- Experience promoting compliance into innovation, aligned with Givaudan's commitment to sustainable and compliant growth.
Additional Requirements:
- Experience in SAP ECC to S/4HANA transition projects.
