The Sensory Science team is a diverse team within the Fragrance S&T function, providing expertise and project support to business and research platforms. An opportunity has arisen for a senior sensory science technician to join our team with a focus on coordinating and conducting sensory tests with our trained fragrance sensory panellists.
Responsibilities- Coordinate and schedule all fragrance business and research support requests with the external fragrance panellists
- Conduct fragrance sensory tests with trained sensory panels
- Carry out sample preparation
- Keep database records up to date
- Maintain panellists’ motivation and performance
- Support recruitment, screening and training of panellists
- Liaise with development and research teams
- Ensure a safe laboratory working environment
- Being a detail-oriented individual who is able to effectively contribute to a team environment
- Having the ability to prioritise tasks and to manage several projects and tasks simultaneously
- Hands-on laboratory experience
- Planning and organising daily activities
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English
- Dynamic self-starter and action oriented
- Curious and customer centric
- Knowledge and technical skills in sensory science discipline / sensory data capture software is desirable
- Knowledge and experience in the Fragrance/Flavour or FMCG industry is desirable
