As a French speaking Customer Service Adviser at Ashford, you will be at the heart of building strong customer relationships, ensuring that assigned customers' requirements are met in the most efficient and cost‑effective way.
Responsibilities:
- Building strong customer relationships by providing support for assigned customers, managing customer expectations, and actively working with the Customer Care Team to deliver superior customer experiences.
- Displaying account management expertise by carrying out requests for changes, dealing with enquiries from internal and external customers, preparing debit and credit notes, processing customer complaints and returns, and updating accurate customer records.
- Participating in continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for improvement within Customer Care and taking part in relevant projects.
- Collaborating with Planning on demand planning information, participating in demand planning meetings, and proactively soliciting and acting on customer feedback.
Professional Profile:
- Good knowledge and working experience in Exports or International Trade (incoterms, shipping terms, etc.)
- High school education or GCSE (minimum level C equivalent) in English and Mathematics
- University Degree, or equivalent experience, in business, supply chain or operations management or related discipline is desirable.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Fluent French speaker
- 2+ years’ experience in a similar customer‑focused role
- Excellent customer service experience
- Ability to work under pressure and deal with ambiguity
- Excellent attention to detail
- Efficient personality with strong time management, administration and customer skills
- Microsoft Office expertise
- Experience using operations management software such as SAP or similar; knowledge of SAP is desirable.
