As a Planning Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading the raw material and production planning functions for compounding activities on site, optimizing end-to-end cycle times, inventory, site productivity and in compliance with EHS requirements, in order to supply customers on time.
Reporting directly to the Head of Operations Vernier, with a dotted line to the Regional Supply Head your main responsibilities will be the following:
- Strategy design and execution: Provide key raw material and production planning inputs to the regional Operations (D&S) plans and participate in the design of the local Operations and Supply Chain Planning strategies as well as definition of related objectives based on input provided by other site functions; Oversee the design and execution of tactical and operational plans at site level to meet local Operations objectives; Agree planning standards and levels with production mid to long-term and enforce schedule adherence; Lead a team of Raw Material or Ingredients Production and ensure efficient execution of the day-to-day Planning operations on site.
- Subject matter expertise: Maintain an optimal level of inventory and write-offs that meets supply chain service level and cost objectives; Control that response to Customer Care is made on time; Oversee the development of short term material supply and capacity plans; Analyze planning performance and improve the KPI’s by using best practices; Monitor, track and define actions to improve or maintain site planning performance indicators; Act as escalation point for resolution of problems, complaints and order prioritization issues; Develop annual budget and expense control, and execute the annual operating plan accordingly; Monitor workload and calendars to maintain the balance within the team; Work closely with all relevant stakeholders in the division and in the GBS, namely Replenishment and R&F teams, Supply Planning team, Control Tower, Logistics hub.
- People management: Lead, manage and develop the Planning Compounding teams, also developing an effective local talent pipeline and solid succession planning.

Educational Background & Specific Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or related discipline;
- MBA or Master’s Degree in a Technical field is preferred;
- Fluent in English / French;
- APICS Certification desired;
- ERP/MRP expertise;
- Strong affinity to systems and analytical tools (Desired SAP, BI, BO);
- Proficient in Microsoft office tools;
- Min. 7 years of experience in manufacturing operations with strong background in supply chain planning, quality and/or materials management, including exposure to business process redesign and systems implementations;
- Min. 3 years of experience in people management.
