Description

Working in partnership with M&S, at Gist we deliver industry-leading logistics and supply chain transformation.

We value, celebrate, and believe in the power of individuality and strive to create a work environment where everyone can be themselves. We want you to join us, bring your authentic self to work and unlock your full potential.

The Opportunity

At Gist, transformation isn't something that happens in the background. We make it happen.

Our implementation team are at the heart of making that change happen and as our business embarks on a journey of significant operational transformation, we're looking for an experienced Implementation Lead to join our high performing team and play a pivotal role in delivering some of the most significant operational change programmes across our network. From new site mobilisations and major site consolidations to systems implementations and large-scale operational change, you'll be at the centre of projects that shape the future of our business.

What you'll be doing

As an Implementation Lead, you'll take ownership of complex, multi-workstream programmes from planning through to go-live and operational handover. No two projects are the same, but you'll be responsible for bringing together people, processes, systems and operations to ensure successful delivery.

You will:

  • Lead end-to-end implementation programmes across multiple sites and functions.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams spanning operations, transport, warehousing, people, IT, finance and infrastructure.
  • Build and manage programme plans, milestones, risks and dependencies.
  • Drive accountability and momentum, overcoming challenges and removing barriers to delivery.
  • Work closely with operational leaders, stakeholders and external partners to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Support site readiness, go-live activities and the transition into steady-state operations.
  • Coach and develop colleagues within the Implementation team.

What we're looking for

We're looking for a delivery-focused individual who brings operational credibility, structured thinking, strong stakeholder management and the ability to drive pace and accountability across diverse teams.

You'll likely bring:

  • Experience leading large-scale operational, logistics, supply chain or transformation projects.
  • Strong programme and stakeholder management skills.
  • The ability to influence and lead across teams without direct authority.
  • Excellent planning, organisation and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Confidence working with senior stakeholders and operational teams alike.
  • A hands-on approach, with the flexibility to spend time on-site when programmes require it.
  • A passion for delivering change while putting safety, people and operational excellence at the heart of everything you do
