The role at a glance

· Pay: £13.41 per hour

· Location: Carlisle

· Contract: Permanent

· Hours: 40 hours per week

· Shift pattern: Sunday - Thursday or Tuesday - Saturday

· Shift times: 21:30 - 06:00

· Additional premiums: Unsocial premium £1.30, Sat premium £2.02, Sun premium £2.55

Helping make Christmas happen

Our warehouses are at the heart of the M&S Food supply chain, and at Christmas, the work we do matters more than ever.

As a Warehouse Operative, you'll be part of the team making sure everything from everyday essentials to festive favourites is picked, prepared and ready to reach M&S stores safely and on time.

Depending on the operation, your day could include:

· Picking and preparing products for dispatch

· Loading and unloading vehicles

· Scanning and checking stock

· Moving goods safely around the warehouse

· Using warehouse equipment and systems, with full training provided

· Working to accuracy, productivity and safety standards

· Supporting your teammates to keep everything moving

Working environment: Chilled temperature

It's a hands-on, active role where you'll be on your feet throughout your shift. We'll provide the training, equipment and support you need to get started.
