At Gist Hemel Hempstead, working in partnership with M&S, we’re recruiting for a VMU Service Manager to lead our site and fleet maintenance operations, ensuring our HGV fleet stays roadworthy, compliant, and running at peak performance. Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
• Proven experience in managing or leading a Heavy Goods VMU / workshop team
• A solid understanding of compliance, health & safety, and preventative maintenance
• Strong leadership skills — you’re a team builder, not just a task manager
• Budget, parts, and contractor management experience
• A hands-on leader who can handle the tools and the strategy
