The Opportunity
As a Night Admin Coordinator, you'll play a key role at the heart of our Portbury operation, where every action you take contributes to customers enjoying their favourite M&S food. This is an exciting time to join the business as we continue to invest in our operations, with this role relocating to our brand-new, state-of-the-art Distribution Centre in Avonmouth in Summer 2027, offering a fantastic opportunity to be part of our future growth and success. Our Portbury operation is looking for candidates who can commit to a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern, working 18:00 PM to 06:00 AM.
What you'll do:
- Liaise with customers confirming daily orders and queries
- Check inbound stock deliveries from suppliers
- Create pre-advices, stock reports and complete traceability tests when requested
- Complete regular stock checks
- Oversee picking, decanting and allocate jobs to staff
- Regular stock rotation to ensure correct dated stock is picked
- Provide a thorough handover to end of shift
- Adhere and lead on all aspects of Health and Safety
- File away paperwork when required
- Deal with all email queries in a timely manner
- Any other duties advised by your manager.
Who you are:
- Previous experience in an administrative role, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to build positive working relationships with colleagues, customers, and suppliers
- A strong team player with a collaborative approach and the ability to support a variety of departments across the site
- Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to work accurately under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Role details:
- Salary: Up to £31,400 per annum + £1,700 Unsocial Hours Premium
- Working hours: NIGHTS - 4 on, 4 off / 18:00 PM to 06:00 AM (A level of flexibility is expected to ensure effective operational coverage)
- Location: Gist Ltd, First Avenue, Royal Portbury Docks, Bristol BS20 7XR
