About This Talent Pool:
We are creating a Project Manager talent pool for upcoming and anticipated work in East and Central Africa, notably Somalia, Kenya, Ethiopia, and Mozambique. PLEASE NOTE THIS IS NOT A LIVE VACANCY but an opportunity to register your interest in future Project Manager roles within our organisation. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, and suitable candidates may be contacted as new projects are confirmed.
About the role:
- End-to-end project management, from mobilisation to close-out.
- Day-to-day coordination of technical advisory teams and consultants.
- Budget oversight, financial forecasting and value-for-money monitoring.
- Risk management, including maintaining risk registers and liaising with security teams.
- Donor and stakeholder engagement, including regular client communication.
- Oversight of monitoring, evaluation, learning and reporting requirements.
- Supporting recruitment, onboarding and people management where required.
- Contributing to organisational learning and future opportunities.
About you:
We are keen to hear from Project Managers who bring strong technical capability and the ability to operate flexibly in complex environments.
- Experience in project management within the aid, security and/or development sectors.
- Experience managing projects funded by bilateral or multilateral donors (e.g. FCDO, EU, UN agencies, World Bank).
