As a Transport Planner you'll play a key role at the centre of our operation, where every action you take contributes to our customers enjoying their favourite M&S food. Our operation in Belfast is looking for candidates who can commit to a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, working 12 hours per day / 42 hours per week between the hours of 18.30 - 06.30.

What will you do & what will you need:
As part of your role, you will work with customers to meet current and anticipated requirements to enable the Site to achieve service expectations. Address customer concerns immediately and escalate where appropriate in a timely manner. Manage transport resources in line with operational and budgetary requirements including shift rota management to maintain service levels. Plan and manage operational resources to optimise the utilisation of labour and equipment to effectively manage forecasted volumes. Ensure effective communication links between colleagues and other shifts to ensure operational consistency and drive high standards and flag opportunities for process improvement.
Ideally, you will have previous experience of working in a multi customer centric operation and planning operational resources. In depth knowledge of drivers rules, regulations and WTD and have a national/international CPC.
