We are looking for a Full Time Backs Warehouse Shift Manager to join our team in Lenziemill, Cumbernauld.
As a Warehouse Shift Manager, you’ll be responsible for the successful delivery of the day-to-day warehouse operations at the site, ensuring the operation is running smoothly, and supporting the Site Operations Managers with a variety of tasks that add value to the operation.
You will also ensure all productivity, accuracy, and cost targets are met and exceeded, as well as manage and coordinate warehouse operations at the distribution centre.

Working pattern: Any 4 from 7 | 14:00 to 12:00

What you’ll do:
Your key accountabilities will include:
- Own the recruitment and induction process within the warehouse department of new colleagues
- Conduct daily administration tasks in relation to payroll systems, payroll queries, holidays, etc.
- Drive shift performance to achieve KPIs
- Forward planning of operation and delivery of plan in line with live volumes and resources
- Ensure all requirements relating to safety, health, environment, and quality are being fully implemented in the warehouse or escalate
- Maintain a safe and friendly working environment for all employees, agency, and subcontractors
- Manage direct reports in various areas, including but not limited to:
- Wellbeing meetings, long-term sick management, return to work, and disciplinaries
- Shift briefings when required
- Collaborate with 3rd party agencies to ensure appropriate resourcing of operation
- Day-to-day reviews of plans and system maintenance in line with live volumes
- Ensure training and development needs are identified and reviewed frequently
- Plan and organise operational, people, and safety meetings
- Investigate and report accidents
- Conduct hazard walks and observations
- Maintain and improve performance levels to maximise efficiency of operation in line with account KPIs
