As a Transport Coordinator you will play a key role at the centre of our operation, where every action you take contributes to our customers enjoying their favourite M&S food. Our operation in Hemel Hempstead is looking for candidates who can commit to a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, working 40.25 hours per week between 19:00 to 07:00.

As part of your role you will brief and debrief Drivers, being the first point of contact for all drivers and ensuring all queries are fed back. Be accountable for legal o-license compliance and for operational excellence i.e. cost and service including Peak planning/delivery. Provide the highest level of customer care and finding resolutions/escalation of live issues. Monitor all routes to ensure they are running on time and escalate to the Team Manager on shift where appropriate. Effective time management to ensure the job is completed within the set time frame provided using Kronos exceptions & Schedules. Conduct daily administration tasks in relation to payroll systems, payroll queries, holidays, etc. Ideally, you will have experience of administration in a busy transport environment, be PC literate with Word and Excel experience and have great attention to detail.
