Join Gist and keep M&S moving this summer. We’re growing our Milton Keynes driver team and looking for four professional Class 1 Drivers to support our busy M&S operation this summer and beyond. Whether you prefer trunking, store deliveries, tramping, or shunting, you’ll be joining a fast-paced logistics operation with consistent work, modern vehicles, and a supportive transport team behind you with genuine long-term opportunities.

Shift Information

  • Day Shift - 2 Positions
    Rota: 4 on / 4 off
    Hours: 06:00 – 18:00
  • Night Shift - 2 Positions
    Rota: 4 on / 4 off
    Hours: 18:00 – 06:00

The Role

Shunting is a key role supporting the smooth running of the site and ensuring trailers are positioned safely and efficiently.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Moving trailers around the yard and site safely
  • Positioning trailers for loading and unloading
  • Supporting transport and warehouse operations on site
  • Maintaining safe working standards at all times

What We’re Looking For

  • Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
  • Minimum 18 months Class 1 driving experience
  • A driving record that meets our internal safety and compliance standards
  • Professional and safety-focused approach
  • Reliable, team-focused attitude
  • Comfortable with manual handling where required
