At Gist, part of the M&S Group, we’re looking for experienced Class 1 Drivers to join our team at Faversham, helping us keep M&S stores supplied every day. The role at a glance

  • Pay: £18.88 per hour plus weekend and overtime rates
  • Location: Faversham
  • Experience: Minimum 18 months' Class 1 driving experience

We currently have opportunities across the following working patterns:

  • Hours: 40 hours
  • Rota: Any 5 from 7 on a rolling rota
  • Start time windows: 03:00-05:00 or 21:30-22:30

Additional shift premiums may apply depending on your working pattern.

What you'll be doing

As one of our Class 1 Drivers, you'll play an important role in keeping M&S moving. You'll be completing store deliveries, making sure products arrive safely, efficiently and on time while providing a professional service at every location. Your day-to-day will include:

  • Completing planned deliveries to M&S stores
  • Carrying out vehicle and safety checks
  • Completing relevant delivery paperwork
  • Working safely and efficiently to planned schedules
  • Keeping in touch with our transport team throughout your shift
  • Representing Gist and M&S professionally on the road and at stores

You’ll need:

  • A valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
  • A minimum of 18 months' Class 1 driving experience
  • Valid Driver CPC

  • Confidence with manual handling where required
