About the role
Location: Nationwide across the UK – As there will be a travel requirement across our network, we are flexible with the location however your base location will be your closest site working in line with our hybrid working policy.
Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday 37.5 hours per week

Due to organisational changes within our operation, we have an exciting opportunity for an Operational Excellence Manager to join our newly established Central Warehouse team. This is a new role where you will be working on warehouse standardisation through leading the development of the “One Gist Way” operational process, through the creation of consistent, high-quality Standard Operating Procedures across the entire warehouse network.
In addition, you will enhance and evolve our Internal Management Systems, defining compliance requirements and developing the tools, software, and processes needed to capture, record, and track operational activities and training compliance.
The role is responsible for driving operational excellence, standards and compliance across warehouse operations. It requires strong expertise in industrial engineering, time studies, and process optimisation to deliver streamlined, scalable, and measurable improvements.
