About the role
Location: Faversham
Hourly rate: Base rate with full Class 1 HGV license £22.02 + premiums paid for hours worked between 6.00pm – 6.00am + additional Saturday, Sunday, Bank Holiday and Overtime Premiums. If you do not have a class 1 HGV license you will start on a base hourly rate of £20.53 and we will put you through this training.
Shift Pattern: Days: 5.30am–2.00pm on a rolling 6-week shift pattern, working a minimum of 2 Saturdays and 1 Sunday in a 6-week period.
- Week 1: Tuesday-Saturday
- Week 2: Monday-Friday
- Week 3: Monday-Friday
- Week 4: Tuesday-Saturday
- Week 5: Monday-Friday
- Week 6: Sunday-Thursday

- Servicing & maintaining HGVs to meet safety and performance standards
- Diagnosing & repairing electrical and mechanical faults
- Following manufacturer guidelines to keep our fleet roadworthy and efficient
- Keeping accurate records of work completed
What We’re Looking For
- NVQ Level 3 or City and Guilds in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance
- HGV experience in a fast-paced environment
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Class 1 license is desirable… but we will support you in getting it
