Join Gist and keep M&S moving this summer. We're growing our Chesterfield driver team and looking for professional Class 1 Drivers to support our busy M&S operation this summer and beyond. Whether you prefer trunking, store deliveries, tramping, or shunting, you'll be joining a fast-paced logistics operation with consistent work, modern vehicles, and a supportive transport team behind you with genuine long-term opportunities.
What You'll Get
- £16.52 per hour + £1.20 unsociable pay per hour between 20:00 - 06:00
- Premiums: Saturday is additional £1.17 per hour and Sunday is an additional £3.53 per hour
- Friday premium (from midday) is £3.73

Shift Information
- Hours: 12 hour shifts
- Rota: 8 week rolling rota
The role - Trunking
A straightforward trunking role focused on depot-to-depot deliveries with planned routes and minimal disruption.
What you’ll be doing:
- Completing planned trunk routes between depots and distribution centres
- Moving stock safely and efficiently across the network
- Supporting the wider transport operation
- Ensuring vehicle compliance and safety standards are maintained
What We’re Looking For
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Minimum 18 months Class 1 driving experience or 12 months experience with 100 shifts to evidence your driver experience
- A driving record that meets our internal safety and compliance standards
- Professional and safety-focused approach
- Reliable, team-focused attitude
- Comfortable with manual handling where required
