We’re growing our Carlisle driver team and looking for professional Class 1 Drivers to support our busy M&S operation this summer and beyond.

Whether you prefer trunking, store deliveries, tramping, or shunting, you’ll be joining a fast-paced logistics operation with consistent work, modern vehicles, and a supportive transport team behind you with genuine long-term opportunities.

What You’ll Get

  • £15.63 per hour
  • £17.93 per hour on Saturdays
  • £19.57 per hour on Sundays and Bank holidays

The Role - Site Deliveries

You’ll be delivering stock safely and efficiently to sites while providing a professional service at every location.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Completing store deliveries across the network
  • Carrying out vehicle checks and delivery paperwork
  • Working safely and efficiently to planned schedules
  • Representing Gist and M&S professionally on site

What We’re Looking For

  • Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
  • Minimum 18 months Class 1 driving experience
  • Driver CPC qualification
  • A driving record that meets our internal safety and compliance standards
  • Professional and safety-focused approach
  • Reliable, team-focused attitude
  • Comfortable with manual handling where required
