Location: Nationwide – As there will be a travel requirement across our network, we are flexible with the location however your base location will be your closest site working in line with our hybrid working policy.
Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 + annual bonus + car allowance

What You’ll Be Doing
- Working across the network you will stress test current working practices and exercise creativity and innovation in resolving issues.
- Provide practical and analytical justification to enable effective delivery of warehousing & distribution improvement projects.
- Responsible for defining solution options and recommending preferred approaches for warehouse design and improvement initiatives.
- Create cost models and return of investment analyses for proposed designs and technologies, evaluating and recommending approaches including cost, service and scalability.
- Analyse current operations, workflows, and data to identify efficiency opportunities including reducing time wasted and unnecessary cost within the business process.
- Model and simulate warehouse operations to test throughput, labour productivity, and space utilisation.
- Oversee design documentation, proposal development, and approval processes.
- Communicate design concepts and business cases effectively to operations leaders, finance teams, and senior management.
- Collaborate with suppliers, contractors, and technology providers to validate design feasibility alongside our internal cross-functional teams (engineering, IT, automation vendors, operations, finance).
- Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure competitive and innovative solutions.

- A strong background in industrial engineering and time study.
- Highly adaptable with a passion for innovation and solution design.
- Previous experience, and the willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies, trends and best practices in logistics and warehouse management.
- Proven experience in applying a level of creativity and innovation when applying new solutions or technologies to enhance operational efficiency.
- Strong understanding of logistics operations, supply chain solutions and industry trends.
- At the forefront of industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, commercial awareness and financial modelling ability.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills — able to convey complex concepts clearly.
- Highly organised, with strong attention to detail.
