Our Talent Acquisition team here at Gist is looking for an ambitious, commercially minded Recruitment Business Partner to join our team and play a key role in attracting and securing exceptional talent. You’ll partner closely with hiring managers, HR colleagues and senior business leaders to understand what great looks like, identify the right talent and deliver a high-quality recruitment experience from initial attraction through to selection. This is a hands-on role for someone who knows recruitment inside out, enjoys building strong relationships and is always looking for smarter, more creative ways to find great people.

What you'll be doing

  • Lead recruitment briefings and manage vacancies from start to finish.
  • Develop effective sourcing and attraction strategies across internal and external channels.
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with hiring managers, HR teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Screen applications and conduct engaging telephone interviews.
  • Create compelling job adverts that engage with internal and external talent.
  • Design robust recruitment and selection materials.
  • Coach hiring managers on interviewing and selection techniques.
  • Build talent pipelines and proactively source future talent.
  • Manage recruitment suppliers where required.
  • Use recruitment data and insight to continuously improve our processes.
  • Champion recruitment best practice and support wider HR projects.

What we're looking for

To be successful in your application you will have proven recruitment partnering experience, either in an in-house or agency environment, you will be experienced in a range of sourcing and recruitment methods and systems with a strong focus on creating excellent candidate experiences. You will be able to build strong stakeholder relationships with hiring managers, wider HR teams and external suppliers, comfortable in challenging, influencing and instilling excellence. You will have a commercial mindset with a proactive approach to recruitment, with a keen eye on industry changes and challenges. This is an excellent opportunity for an operational recruiter who enjoys recruiting both operational and functional roles.

Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.

Location: This role can be based anywhere in the UK, individuals must be comfortable with hybrid working with frequent travel to Chineham.
