We're looking for talented HGV Technicians to maintain, diagnose, and repair our modern, well-invested fleet to the highest industry standards, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. SHIFT PATTERN & LOCATION
We're recruiting a HGV Technician at our site in Barnsley on a: Any 5 over 7 day rota 40 hours a week Working between the hours of 6am and 10pm on a rotating day and back shift.

- Base rate between £18.47 - £22.30 depending on skills and experience

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
As a HGV Technician, you'll play a key role in ensuring our fleet runs safely, efficiently, and on time. As part of your role, you'll:
- Keep our HGVs and trailers performing at their best through expert servicing and maintenance that meets the highest safety and performance standards
- Use your technical expertise to accurately diagnose and repair a wide range of electrical and mechanical faults
- Respond to breakdowns and reactive maintenance with confidence, delivering effective first-time fixes that keep operations moving
- Work to manufacturer guidelines, using the latest technology and best practices to maintain a reliable, efficient modern fleet
- Maintain clear, accurate records of all work completed, supporting compliance, quality, and continuous improvement
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Ideally, you'll have:
- NVQ Level 3 or City and Guilds in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance
- HGV experience in a fast-paced environment
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Class 1 license is desirable, but if you don't have it, we will support with this
