Welding Engineer in England

We are seeking a
Welding Engineer
to support a major industrial project, ensuring welding and fabrication activities are executed safely, on time, and in compliance with requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure welding and fabrication work meets project specifications, codes, and standards.
Review and approve welding documentation such as WPS/WPQR, welding procedures, and technical reports.
Act as the main contact for welding-related matters with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Participate in inspections, audits, and testing activities at workshops and construction sites.
Support resolution of technical queries, deviations, and non-conformities.
Monitor contractor progress and performance, and recommend improvements or corrective actions.
Promote and ensure compliance with HSE rules and safe working practices.
Coordinate with project team and other disciplines to ensure consistency and quality.
Requirements
Bachelor\’s degree in Engineering (any discipline).
International Welding Engineer diploma.
Strong knowledge of welding practices and standards.
Experience in welding engineering on large industrial projects.
Ability to review and challenge contractor documentation and performance.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a multicultural environment.
Proactive, organized, and detail-oriented.
