About Girraphic

Girraphic is an agile and ever growing broadcast design agency, founded in Sydney and with eight offices globally. At Girraphic we are firm believers in the power of an idea and providing technical innovation and expertise to help create, explore & bring ideas to life. Specialising in Vizrt & Unreal engine products and workflows, we have over 30 years of industry experience in the conception, production and successful delivery of full turnkey and bespoke on-air graphics solutions across all media platforms.

The Role:

There are a multitude of skilled individuals in our creative, technical, and operational departments and we’re expanding our Art department to ensure the effective, robust, and exceptional quality of delivery that our clients have become accustomed to. As part of our Art department you will work alongside senior creatives to deliver polished design work that aligns with project goals across print, digital and broadcast platforms. You will support the team with design execution, branding maintenance and asset organisation. Our ideal Graphic Designer will be a highly flexible and independent individual ready to take on any challenge, hungry to learn and grow in the broadcast industry, with a relentless attitude towards working in a high-pressure live production environment and a passion for sports of any kind.

This role is full time, based onsite in our London, UK office. At times you may be required to support a global portfolio requiring flexibility with non-traditional hours and the ability to to travel domestically and internationally.

What you will do:

  • Design and update branding assets; logos, style guides, marketing materials, stationary
  • Create visually appealing PDF documents using InDesign to present our graphic content
  • Create social media content for Girraphic’s internal channels
  • Maintain Girraphic’s brand assets and templates in Google Drive
  • Produce 2D broadcast graphic designs
  • Support basic motion graphics; simple animations, transitions
  • Verify brand consistency across projects under senior supervision
  • Assist in colour grading and typography hierarchy for broadcast deliverables
  • Maintain awareness of current industry trends, including technology standards

Who you are:

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign
  • 2+ years of experience in graphic design
  • Strong knowledge of typography, colour theory and layout design
  • Basic After Effects skills for simple animations
  • Familiarity with brand identity systems and print production
  • Strong organisational skills, with focus on cloud-based asset management
  • Keen focus on the finer aspects of design, ensuring consistent and high quality outputs
