Girls Not Brides: The Global Partnership to End Child Marriage is the only global organisation uniquely focused on creating and sustaining a worldwide movement to end child, early and forced marriage and unions (CEFMU) and ensuring that this movement leads to tangible change for the girls at risk or affected by the practice. We are a network of more than 1,400 civil society organisations in over 100 countries working in partnership to end child marriage.

We are looking for a collaborative and values-driven People and Culture HR Manager to lead and strengthen our inclusive HR approach across our global team. This is a varied and rewarding opportunity to influence the employee experience at every stage of the team member journey.
You will play a key role in shaping organisational culture, providing expert guidance across:
- Recruitment
- Onboarding
- Staff wellbeing
- Pay and benefits
- Learning and development
- HR policy and systems
Requirements:
- Substantial experience in Human Resources in diverse and international settings, with a proven ability to manage complex and sensitive issues with empathy, fairness, and discretion.
- Experience reviewing, managing, and implementing HR systems and supporting continuous improvement in organisational policies and processes.
- Knowledge of best practice in people management and employment policies, procedures, and legislation preferably in the charity sector, and ability to apply it in a practical, value-aligned way.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative approach to working across teams and locations.
- CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent advanced training in HR, organisational management, or employment law is highly desirable.
Please note: There is one People and Culture HR Manager position available, which may be based in either London or Nairobi. Candidates must already have the right to work in the location for which they apply and for the full duration of the two-year fixed-term contract.
