This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Teacher of Psychology to run a popular A-Level subject department of keen and highly able students. Key responsibilities for the role include:
- Teaching key stage 5
- Being a form tutor to either a KS3, 4 or 5 group
- Organising extra-curricular activities and contributing to the wider life of the school
The successful candidate will:
- Be a qualified teacher with a track record of successful teaching of Psychology
- Be able to inspire and enthuse students
- Show evidence of continuing professional development
- Have awareness and understanding of curriculum priorities for Psychology
- Be able to articulate the wider importance of their subject in developing young people
- Be excited by the prospect of joining a department and the wider school team
