This role offers the chance to play a key part in the smooth running of Wallington High School for Girls by providing high-quality administrative and organisational support to the Headteacher and wider leadership team. It is a varied position that requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities calmly and efficiently.

As well as managing the Headteacher's diary and correspondence, the role includes supporting leadership and governor meetings, overseeing recruitment processes, and acting as a point of contact for staff, parents, and external visitors. No two days are the same, and the successful candidate will need to be adaptable, proactive, and discreet. Key responsibilities for the role include:

  • Providing high-quality administrative and organisational support to the Headteacher and wider leadership team.
  • Overseeing recruitment, including preparation of recruitment packs, adverts, interview scheduling, candidate liaison, and communication with the Trust HR team.
  • Supporting local governor meetings.

  • Be an excellent communicator, both verbal and written.
