IT Technician - Part Time / Full Time with AV Technician Role in Hardingstone

The IT Technician is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the school's IT infrastructure. Delivery will support the effective and efficient day-to-day activities of students, teachers and administrative staff.

What skills and experience you'll bring to the role:

• Proven experience of delivering customer focused IT service
• Strong technical understanding of IT systems
• Experience of first line support to end-users
• Experience (or demonstrated understanding) with IT service desk tools and ticketing systems to accurately log, track, and resolve user support requests
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software and network systems
• Excellent problem solving and trouble shooting skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
• Good judgment in determining when to independently troubleshoot and persevere through technical issues, versus when to escalate complex or time-sensitive problems to senior IT staff
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
• Familiarity with educational context desirable
