The Company
We are looking for a Residential Building Surveyor who is keen to leave the corporate world to join a consultancy who genuinely care about customer service.

The successful Residential Building Surveyor will be joining a local, independent consultancy, set up 5 years ago by two Partners who found the unrealistic targets and constant pressure of their existing business restricted the quality of their work and ability to win repeat business.

They specialise in Residential Surveys and Valuations across Devon and have built up a formidable reputation in a short space of time. Their friendly team pride themselves on employee wellbeing and work-life balance. With an expectation of just 5 surveys/reports a week, you are given the flexibility and time to focus on the job. You will be set up from a home base but meet up regularly for team huddles. They offer a competitive salary, excellent benefits and commission.

The role
You will be focussed on RICS Surveys Level 2 & 3 but also have the opportunity for broader experience including:

  • Client liaison – pre and post inspection meetings
  • Desktop surveys
  • Snagging on new build properties
  • Small Project Management

The right candidate
We are looking for an experienced Residential Building Surveyor with the following skills and attributes:

  • AssocRICS, MRICS or FRICS essential
  • Proven experience as a Residential Building Surveyor completing level 1, 2 or 3 surveys
  • Strong IT skills
  • Full UK driver’s licence
