I’m working with a well-respected maintenance contractor based in Devon to recruit a Kitchen Fitter for their busy team in Barnstaple. This is a great opportunity to get stuck into a planned maintenance programme, focusing on kitchen installations in occupied propertieswhere your skills will make a real difference to people’s homes.
Duties will include:
• Full kitchen rip-outs and refits
• Removal of existing units, flooring, and sinks
• Prepping and making good walls, floors, and surfaces
• Installing new kitchen units, worktops, and appliances
• Basic plumbing – including connecting sinks and pipework
• Wall and floor tiling to a tidy, professional standard
• Finishing touches – painting, sealing, and snagging
• General carpentry repairs as needed across the property
You’ll need:
• A qualification in Carpentry or solid time-served experience
• Proven background in kitchen fitting and domestic maintenance
• Your own tools and a clean driving licence
• A keen eye for detail and pride in your work
• Good communication skills (you’ll be working in occupied homes)
This role is temporary to start with, but there’s a strong chance of it going permanent for the right person.
