The Role We are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join a busy consultancy team. This role offers the chance to take on technical leadership, delivering a diverse portfolio of structural projects across residential and commercial sectors. Responsibilities Lead and deliver structural engineering projects from design to completion Undertake site visits and liaise directly with clients, architects, and contractors Provide technical leadership within the consultancy Mentor junior staff and contribute to their professional development Play a key role in the commercial success of projects and the wider business What You’ll Need MEng or BEng in Engineering (Structural preferred; Civil considered with proven structural experience) 4 to 5 years’ consultancy experience Chartered or working towards chartership with the IStructE Strong technical design ability, analysis skills, and excellent written and verbal communication Commercial awareness and motivation to take responsibility beyond the typical senior engineer role Experience delivering Party Wall Surveys desirable but not essential Must be local, or within a commutable distance to the office Unrestricted right to live and work in the UK What’s in it for me?
