Site engineer/ Section Engineer

About the Role: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Section Engineer to join our team on a key infrastructure project in Plymouth. This is a 4-month contract, ideal for someone with a strong background in civil engineering and site supervision, looking to make an immediate impact on a high-profile scheme. Key Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day site engineering activities and ensure project milestones are met. Supervise subcontractors and coordinate site works in line with project schedules. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company procedures. Assist with quality assurance, documentation, and progress reporting. Support the Site Agent and Project Manager in delivering works on time and to specification. Requirements: Degree/HNC in Civil Engineering or related discipline. Proven experience in a similar Section Engineer role on civil or infrastructure projects. Strong understanding of site operations, technical drawings, and method statements. CSCS card (essential), SMSTS/SSSTS (desirable), First Aid (preferred)
