The predicted salary is between 43200 - 72000 £ per year.
We are working alongside a Tier One Contractor who have an exciting opportunity for a Senior MEP Planner to join the team. Playing a huge part in the delivery programme on Hinkley Point C, near Bridgwater in Somerset, they are delivering reinforced concrete, bulk earthworks and infrastructure works.
You will need to have experience working on large complex projects and clearly have relevant MEP experience. Specifically on this project, you'll be tasked to look after the installation of mechanical, electrical and fitout of RC frame buildings, alongside a thorough understanding of the NEC contract environment.
Day to Day Duties:
- Able to create programmes from 1st principles, utilising M&E schedules, drawings and specifications.
- Create an integrated programme from subcontractor programmes.
- Audit subcontractor programmes for robustness.
- Update and monitor progress within a programme against contract requirements.
- Introduce and analyse change in programmes according to prescriptive NEC conditions.
This role of Senior MEP Planner would suit you if you have the following:
- UK NEC contract based planning experience.
- Familiar with reinforced concrete frame building techniques/methodologies.
- Knowledge of RIBA design process and management of subcontractor programmes would be an advantage.
- Primavera experience and any 4D Planning experience.
