An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Building Surveyor or Quantity Surveyor to join a growing independent construction consultancy in South Wales and take on the role of Project Manager / Employers Agent.

The successful Senior Building Surveyor or Quantity Surveyor will play a key role in delivering projects from pre-construction through to completion, acting as the primary point of contact between clients, contractors, and consultants.
Key responsibilities include:
- Acting as Project Manager Employers Agent across a range of projects
- Preparing and administering contract documentation
- Coordinating and managing project delivery through pre and post-contract stages
- Chairing progress meetings and issuing project reports
- Monitoring contractor performance against programme, quality, and compliance
- Managing project costs, valuations, variations, and final accounts
- Supporting successful project completion, handover, and defects management
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships throughout project delivery
The Ideal Candidate
The successful Senior Building Surveyor or Quantity Surveyor will have:
- MRICS qualified or working towards Chartership
- Previous experience within an Employers Agent or Quantity Surveying role
- Residential or commercial project experience
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to manage projects independently whilst working collaboratively within a team
- Proactive attitude with strong attention to detail
