The Opportunity
We are working with a well-established and highly respected property and construction consultancy to appoint a Senior Building Surveyor for their Exeter office. This is a genuinely secure, long-term role within an organisation boasting a huge and stable pipeline of work across the South West. The Role
As Senior Building Surveyor, you will deliver a broad range of surveying and project management services across a diverse portfolio of work. Projects span education, commercial, retail and care sectors, offering scale, complexity and purpose. Key responsibilities will include:
- Delivering professional building surveying services
- Managing refurbishment and improvement projects from inception to completion
- Acting as lead consultant and client point of contact
- Preparing specifications, reports and technical documentation
- Contract administration and project management duties
- Working collaboratively with internal teams and external consultants
- Ensuring projects are delivered safely, compliantly and to a high standard

The Ideal Candidate
We are seeking a confident and capable Chartered Building Surveyor who brings:
- MRICS status (essential)

- Proficiency in CAD software
- Revit experience (desirable but not essential)
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- A proactive, collaborative and solutions-focused approach
