A highly respected property and construction consultancy is looking to appoint a Building Surveyor to join its Exeter office. As Building Surveyor, you’ll work across a broad range of projects in the education, commercial, retail and care sectors, supporting both day-to-day professional services and the delivery of refurbishment and improvement schemes.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Delivering core building surveying professional services
- Supporting and managing refurbishment and improvement projects
- Preparing technical reports, specifications and schedules of work
- Assisting with contract administration and project management duties
- Working closely with clients, consultants and internal project teams
- Producing and reviewing technical drawings using CAD
- Contributing to projects that make a genuine, positive impact
The Ideal Candidate
We are seeking a capable and motivated Building Surveyor who brings:
- A degree in Building Surveying (or closely related discipline)
- Proven experience working in a building surveying role
- Strong technical knowledge of building fabric and refurbishment works
- CAD proficiency (essential)
