The role is for a "Contract Manager", someone with a bit of drive and tenacity, who can successfully deliver multiple projects whilst also developing the business unit across the Cornwall region.
Key Responsibilities- Managing a small team of Engineers, you will work closely with the Senior Management Team and be responsible for the following:
- Proactive management of Health & Safety
- Planning, managing, executing and controlling projects
- Sole responsibility for budget, programme, quality, supplier and subcontractor management
- Participate in bid/tender processes
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with clients
- Full man management responsibilities
- Winning new work - identifying opportunities and securing a strong portfolio of projects
- Attend networking events, representing the business
Ideally, you will have at least 5 years in a CM or PM role, having worked for a "Building Services" Contractor, locally. In addition to this, you will have the following:
- Educated to HNC/HND/Degree level in a Mechanical discipline
- SMSTS and NEBOSH (preferred)
- Experience of delivering projects as the Mechanical Contractor
- To have successful experience in dealing directly with Clients and the public
- To work on your own initiative - proven experience of winning work would be hugely advantageous
