We're looking for a communications coordinator to join our corporate communications team. They will support the communications, marketing and fundraising directorate to ensure the smooth and efficient running of directorate projects and processes, including monitoring and evaluation and providing logistical support for a range of events, campaigns and projects.
In this role, you'll support a number of different teams, including internal communications, PR, social media and external affairs. You'll need to have excellent organisational skills, including managing a varied and busy workload to tight deadlines and the ability to use initiative and adapt to changing priorities. The successful candidate will have experience in working in a communications role and have excellent communication skills, including preparing copy for different audiences.
The post requires working outside of 9-5 office hours, such as evenings and occasionally weekends, and to travel to other locations as necessary, for which time off in lieu and an allowance will be given.

Girlguiding operates a hybrid working arrangement where office based staff are required to attend the office on average two days a week, or 40% of working time across the year. Location allowance is payable to those who work in accordance with our hybrid working model. All staff are required to carry out our online health and safety training and complete a DSE risk assessment to ensure we can provide the support you require.
