Girlguiding is looking for a creative project coordinator with a background in youth programme, event and activity creation, and with experience of facilitation and coordination of youth participation opportunities for young people. We are looking to create a new offer for our 11-18 year old age group to sit alongside our current youth offer, and to do this we hope to involve the voices of girls in and out of guiding throughout this innovation and development phase.
We’re looking for someone with:
- Broad experience in developing youth programmes, resources or activities, ideally spanning informal learning, participation, or personal development.
- Proven experience of youth co‑creation or youth participation, with a passion for youth voice.
- Strong project coordination skills, confident at working to timelines across multiple workstreams, and engaging adults and young people as part of stakeholder engagement.
- An understanding of the opportunities and challenges of a volunteer‑run youth work offer within member‑based or volunteer‑led organisations.
