A $5,000 sign-on bonus (conditions apply) is available for new hires (part-time and full-time). Salary ranges from $75,364 to $104,708 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. Additional benefits include:

About us: Gippsland Lakes Complete Health (GLCH) is a not-for-profit organisation that has been helping East Gippsland residents to live well for more than 50 years. We are one of the region’s most high-profile health and support service providers with more than 550 staff, 300 volunteers, and an annual budget in excess of $50 million. Our mission is to develop and deliver quality health and wellbeing services to the people of East Gippsland.

Both our Children’s Centres are part of the Support, Therapy, Education and Prevention (STEP) Unit. We provide care and education to children from infancy through to thirteen years of age, in a safe, secure and stimulating environment including:

  • Full time, part time and casual care
  • Before and after school care
  • 3 and 4 year old funded kindergarten
  • Care for children with special needs
  • Excursions and incursions

Over 160 children are currently enrolled at both Centres. The Children’s Centre is located on Coates Road, Lakes Entrance, and the Gippsland Lakes Early Learning Centre is located on Carpenter St Lakes Entrance.

About the role: As a key member of the Children’s Centre leadership team, the Educational Leader provides pedagogical leadership across the service, driving educational excellence, continuous improvement and evidence-informed practice. The role works collaboratively with educators, families, leadership and community partners to build educator capability, strengthen outcomes for children and ensure the delivery of high-quality, inclusive and child-centred educational programs.

Qualifications: A relevant qualification is mandatory, such as a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care, Bachelor of Education, Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood, or Master of Education.

Sign on bonus details: The sign-on bonus will be paid in the following stages:

  • $1,000 gross after 3-month probationary period
  • $2,000 gross after one full year of employment
  • Additional $2,000 gross after two full years of employment
