We are looking for a Senior Project Manager at Bridgwater, UK.
4 day week: Hours – 9.25 per day – 7.25 am to 5.00 pm.
Job Description:
- Establish a vision and strategy to positively direct a team in the achievement of common goals and overall organisational objectives and benefits.
- Accountable for ensuring the safe delivery of a project to time, cost and quality with responsibility for leading the project to a successful conclusion.
- Take personal responsibility for the consistent application and standards of project procedures.
- Provide leadership, management, and governance to ensure projects meet specified requirements.
- Delivery of projects and programmes within a contractual framework operating with processes to ensure legal and contractual compliance in conjunction with the responsible Commercial Manager.
- Establish and verify delivery programme baselines and operate project control processes (requirements capture, planning, cost, risk, trend analysis and change control).
- Through stakeholder analysis effectively identify and actively manage stakeholders consistent with the overall strategy of the business and delivery of component programmes and projects.
- Proactively work to prevent adverse impacts on delivery through management of risks and project interdependencies.
- This includes development of a project risks and opportunities plan and instigates mitigation measures or other appropriate actions.
- Able to identify, define and manage change at an organisational level through the delivery of projects and work packages.
- Provides project performance data (i.e. critical path analysis, float erosion, milestones, CPI, SPI and EVA) to the Programme Delivery Manager.
- Lead CDM activities for the project in accordance with the Health, Safety and Environment process.
