Location: Knutsford, UK (Hybrid)
Role Description:
- Strong programme delivery experience, at scale – Specifically data platform migrations to Cloud, managing business change / impacts
- Excellent in both Technical and Business change domains
- Strong stakeholder management: internal, external and 3rd party.
Key Accountabilities:
- Create and maintain overall programme delivery plan
- Track and manage risks, issues, dependencies
- Apply rigorous change control in line with the agreed business case
- Proactively identify opportunities for improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the technical delivery, or the programme as a whole
- Ensure accurate and transparent reporting of status against plans, resource plans and risks/issues/actions
Stakeholder Management and Leadership:
- Excellent stakeholder management
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence decisions and actions
Person Specification:
Essential Skills/Basic Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in a Programme Management role with evidence of successful delivery of medium/large projects containing technology change
- Experience in using established Project/Programme Management methods, frameworks, and toolkits
- Strong record of operating with senior levels of management
- Experience with large corporate change processes and architectural understanding of ecosystems of applications
- Experience in large data migration project.
- Experience in Teradata and Snowflake is preferred.
- Experience with big data stores, real-time analytics, Data visualisation.
Desirable skills/Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree level or equivalent education in a computer science, engineering, mathematical, financial or IT field
- Experience of Agile delivery methodologies
