We are hiring for a position in Abingdon, Oxfordshire.
Proven experience as a C&I Wire Person or Panel Builder, capable of constructing, wiring, and commissioning new plant equipment, including cubicles, sub-racks, and electronic assemblies.
Should be able to perform delicate technical tasks, such as high-precision thermocouple connections and handling fragile electronic components.
Skilled in bench testing and in-situ fault finding on industrial systems, including the repair of 3-phase power systems under supervision or through written test procedures.
Must hold 18th Edition Wiring Regulations and a Level 3 Electrotechnical qualification (or HNC/ONC equivalent), with the ability to draft Safe Systems of Work and technical documentation.
Significant experience working within high-tech industrial or research environments, specifically supporting Plant Responsible Officers (PROs) on large-scale facilities.
Ability to take full ownership of technical delivery, ensuring all C&I systems are built to defined requirements and rigorously tested before deployment.
Apprentice-trained background with a flexible approach to undertaking general maintenance and engineering duties to support broader facility operations.
