We are hiring for a Secretarial / Governance Manager (CoSec / Corporate Governance / Board Secretary / Chief of Staff).

Location: Hybrid, 3 days per week in London or Birmingham.

Proven track record in an assistant or manager capacity within a Secretariat, explicitly handling complex Board, Executive, and sub-committee frameworks.

Responsibilities include:

  • End-to-end committee management (setting agendas, collating/circulating papers, drafting high-quality minutes, and tracking actions).
  • Coordinating corporate meeting schedules (circa 200+ annual meetings).
  • Supporting governance effectiveness reviews.
  • Assisting with the Annual Report and Accounts contribution.
  • Maintaining precise version control of governance information.
  • Actively embedding Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) policies.

Experience with Information Management Systems (IMS), corporate intranets (e.g., Interchange/SharePoint), and secure board portal software for document circulation and version tracking is required.

Prior experience in Mega-infrastructure public sector / Non-Departmental Public Body (NDPB) corporate governance and Company Secretariat operations is essential.
