We are hiring for a C# .NET Developer (Banking / Financial Services).
Location: Hybrid - 2-3 days in Glasgow office per week.
Responsibilities include:
- Designing, building, and deploying scalable, enterprise-grade applications within a financial services environment.
- Managing application configurations across multi-tier environments (Dev to Prod).
- Handling IIS deployments and conducting rigorous code reviews and performance tuning.
Required skills:
- Strong expertise in full-lifecycle application development.
- Highly proficient in C#, .NET Framework (4.5–4.8), ASP.NET MVC, Web API, ADO.NET, Entity Framework, and SQL Server (including advanced stored procedures and query optimization).
- Hands-on experience deploying and managing .NET applications on AWS infrastructure, specifically utilizing EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and CloudWatch for monitoring.
- Proven track record of implementing and automating CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions, alongside robust Git/Bitbucket branching strategies.
- Direct experience integrating and configuring WPS (Workplace/Workflow Processing Services).
- Prior experience operating within the Banking/Financial Services domain utilizing essential development tools including Visual Studio, IIS Server, Postman, and Swagger for API management.
