Job Overview
We are hiring for Electrical Maintenance Technician (Electrical/Avionics / Defence / Military / Electrical/Electronic)
Location : Deeside
Responsibilities
- Analyse and interpret complex electrical and mechanical drawings and diagrams to produce cables to exact specifications.
- Apply expert hand skills for cable construction, including crimping, soldering, wire stripping, and the use of heat guns and cable winding machinery.
- Assist in coordinating cable projects, including managing documentation, drawings, tooling, and testing of the finished article.
- Hold and maintain current PTT qualification & certification.
- Comply with all statutory COSHH, H&S, and environmental protection instructions.
- Ensure the quality and standard of the workshop is maintained in accordance with the Business System (DBM) and ISO regulations.
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2 & 3 (relevant to engineering/wiring looms) or an ONC.
- A recognised apprenticeship or appropriate industry experience (e.g., cable manufacturing, electrical repair, or a military role).
