Join the Education Library Service (ELS) team as a Delivery Driver responsible for operating a 7.5-ton mobile library vehicle, supporting learning and literacy across the school community.
What you’ll do:
- Drive a designated 7.5-ton vehicle safely and legally
- Load/unload books, supplies, and equipment
- Perform daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance
- Keep accurate records of journeys, fuel use, and servicing
- Contribute to safe, welcoming learning environments at each stop
What we’re looking for:
- Valid Category C1 Driver’s Licence
- Minimum 2 years’ delivery or library driving experience
- Confident with manual handling and basic vehicle care
- Team player with a flexible attitude
