We are hiring for a Senior SAS Engineer/Consultant (Risk & Regulatory/UK banking).

Location: Hybrid, 2 days per week in Birmingham.

Expert-level hands-on and design experience across SAS EG, SAS DI, Base SAS, and SAS Viya.

Responsibilities include:

  • Owning end-to-end technical design artifacts covering SAS EG, SAS DI, and SAS Viya environments.
  • Leading SAS platform upgrades and migrations, specifically moving Legacy environments to cloud-hosted SAS Viya.
  • Architecting and building SAS solutions supporting RWA (Risk-Weighted Assets), EAD (Exposure at Default), capital calculations, and regulatory reporting.
  • Ensuring all SAS implementations comply strictly with regulatory expectations and survive stringent audit scrutiny.
  • Designing efficient SAS data processing flows optimized for massive, complex financial datasets.

Key Skills: SAS Data Integration Studio (DI), Base SAS/SAS Viya & Cloud Capability, SAS code structure, indexing, memory management, and scaling data flows.
