We are hiring for QA Engineer (Banking Experience)
Location: Northampton - Hybrid/2-3 days Per week in Office
- Strong hands‑on experience in Quality Engineering/Test Automation across APIs, microservices, distributed systems, and event-driven architectures.
- Strong proficiency in Jest, TypeScript, Playwright, JUnit, and Gradle.
- Practical experience testing Apache Kafka, including topic seeding, asynchronous validation, consumer behaviour, lag monitoring, replay testing, and resilience scenarios.
- Strong knowledge of API testing, contract testing, JSON Schema, and AJV.
- Experience with performance, load, scalability, and resilience testing for low‑latency and high‑throughput systems.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD quality gates, automated test reporting, test data management, and release validation.
- Good knowledge of TDD, BDD, mocking frameworks, specification-by-example, and shift‑left Quality Engineering.
- Familiarity with Java and Spring Boot applications and the ability to support service‑level test automation and validation.
